Earlier this month, Finesse2tymes and his girlfriend, FNG Shugga, were detained during a traffic stop on multiple charges.

The rapper’s legal troubles have been ongoing throughout his career, and January marked yet another incident. On the 14th, he and Shugga were arrested in Dallas after Rusk County police stopped their Cadillac Escalade, reportedly due to a missing front license plate.

During the stop, officers noted the smell of marijuana emanating from the vehicle, leading to a search. A small bag containing marijuana was uncovered in the front of the car, along with orange pills suspected to be Adderall. Following the discovery, both individuals were taken into custody.

Shugga, who was found to have outstanding warrants, faced additional allegations related to evidence tampering. She is accused of trying to hide a small bag of marijuana within her clothing during the arrest.

As a result, she has been charged with tampering or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair, possessing marijuana, possessing a controlled substance, and a weapon-related offense.

Finesse2tymes also found himself facing more charges after arriving at the jail. Officials allegedly discovered orange pills on him during this time. His charges include possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, and possessing a prohibited item within a correctional or civil commitment facility.

Both he and Shugga have since been released following the ordeal.
