Sean “Diddy” Combs appears to have taken on a new role while serving time, with his duties now linked to the prison’s media library.

A video acquired by TMZ shows the music icon inside the media library at Fort Dix, where he’s currently incarcerated, surrounded by fellow inmates. Though the specifics of his work remain unclear, the clip suggests that Diddy may be involved in distributing movies and religious materials to others in custody.

In another snippet, Diddy is spotted walking down a hallway pushing a TV stand and conversing with inmates. His appearance seems noticeably different in this footage, with his hair left natural — uncut and undyed.

Diddy’s budding responsibilities follow recent reports highlighting his previous task of managing prison laundry needs, a role seen as ironic given allegations that he was overly dependent on assistants before his incarceration.

The hip-hop entrepreneur is serving a 50-month sentence at Fort Dix after being convicted last October, coupled with a $500,000 fine. Earlier this month, his expected release date was postponed from May 8, 2028, to June 4, 2028.

The reason behind the change in schedule hasn’t been disclosed. However, recent rumors hinted at Diddy allegedly being “caught with alcohol” while in prison—a claim vehemently denied by his representatives, who deemed the accusations “completely false.”

Other factors, such as Diddy’s participation in a drug treatment program and overall good behavior, could potentially lead to an earlier release date. For now, we’ll have to watch how things unfold in the coming years, particularly with the numerous ongoing civil legal battles.
