Future seems to have more in store following the release of his gold certificated new album “High Off Life.”

The multi-platinum selling rapper recently linked up with Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show to talk about the background of his chart-topping album, upcoming projects for Netflix and a new book as well as his main source of inspiration.

I get my inspiration from the people. The people that have an influence. The people who understand it. The people who done studied it. I keep you on your toes. So, whatever you’re expecting I got to go beyond your expectations.

“High Off Life” features blockbuster guest features including YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Drake, DaBaby, Lil Durk and Young Thug. Speaking about Thugger, Future has nothing but positive words, referring to him as his “twin.”

That’s my twin. There’s me and then there’s him. … When you mention Thug you mention me. It’s like one.

Furthermore, Future talked about working with Travis Scott.

It’s just expensive. It’s just being expensive, like having expensive taste. Artistically, Travis, he’s on another level when it comes to being artistic and everything. Like, his whole vision, being engaged, the artwork, and just the core craft. He knows what he’s doing.

He also revealed that he wants to tell the story of his career in his own words with book and film projects.

Right now, I got my book I’m working on. My movie I’m working on. They’re going to able to find it on Netflix.
