Future has delivered one of hip-hop’s biggest surprises of 2026.

Future’s “Ya Hit” brings together Drake, Travis Scott and rising Florida rapper Loe Shimmy for a heavyweight collaboration that could signal a new chapter in rap’s complicated alliances.

Released November 6, the ATL Jacob-produced single is more than just another star-studded record. It marks a potentially significant reunion between artists whose relationships have been surrounded by tension, competition and controversy.

The biggest headline is undoubtedly Drake and Travis Scott sharing a track again. Their last collaboration was 2023’s “Meltdown,” and their relationship appeared strained during the explosive Drake-Kendrick Lamar feud.

Now, the unexpected reunion has fans questioning whether hip-hop’s old alliances are officially back.

Drake and Travis Scott Put Past Tensions Aside

“Ya Hit” reunites Drake and Future for the second time this year, following their collaboration on “Ran to Atlanta” from Drake’s Iceman project.

But Travis Scott’s presence arguably makes this release even more interesting. Scott previously faced scrutiny after encouraging crowds to play Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That,” the record that helped ignite one of rap’s most talked-about rivalries.

His appearance alongside Drake now represents a notable shift.

The track also features Loe Shimmy, whose rising profile adds a fresh dimension to the heavyweight lineup. Sexyy Red contributes additional ad-libs, while ATL Jacob handles production.

Is Hip-Hop Returning to Its Supergroup Era?

Beyond the reunion drama, Future’s “Ya Hit” could represent something bigger for mainstream rap.

The era of superstar collaborations once dominated hip-hop, but those massive posse cuts have become less frequent. Bringing together four distinct artists could be Future’s attempt to recapture that excitement while introducing a newer voice to a wider audience.

The single also serves as the first official release from Future’s upcoming album, although details about the project remain limited.

Following the success of “The Real Me”, which debuted at No. 1, expectations are understandably high.

Whether this collaboration is about reconciliation, commercial strategy or simply making great music, one thing is clear: Future knows exactly how to make hip-hop pay attention.
