LL Cool J’s Rock The Bells Festival 2025 just added two of the most revered DJs in Hip-Hop history.
Grandmaster Flash, a founding father of Hip-Hop, will join the stage to DJ for the legendary Rakim, marking a generational bridge between hip-hop’s origin and its golden era.
DJ Premier, the sonic architect behind countless classic albums, will DJ for a significant portion of the festival lineup, curating select sets and a Gang Starr mix in honor of Guru.
With these two iconic turntablists shaping the sound, Rock The Bells Festival continues to bridge generations, celebrating the roots of Hip-Hop while pushing the culture forward through timeless artistry and intentional curation.
The lineup brings together voices that shaped Hip-Hop and those driving it forward: Busta Rhymes, Redman, Eric B. & Rakim, Remy Ma, Too $hort, Scarface, Plies, Boosie, Fabolous, Lil’ Mo, and Coast Contra. Hosted by the Dean of Ceremonies, Roxanne Shante, and soundtracked by the legendary Kid Capri, the evening will be a masterclass in lyricism, showmanship, and raw energy.
The event takes place Saturday, (June 28) at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.
