Gucci Mane seems to confront matters involving Pooh Shiesty in his latest track, “Crash Dummy,” which debuted today (April 10).

The song alludes to an alleged January incident involving robbery and kidnapping tied to the 1017 Records artist. Shortly after previewing the Zaytoven-produced track, Gucci dropped the full song, describing how he thought he was attending a business meeting, only to realize it was a setup.

“Tell the truth, you went out like a real crash dummy, and after all that, boy, you still signed to me,” he raps on the song.

Elsewhere on the track, he asserts that he had been anticipating what he believed to be a business meeting, only to later realize that it was a setup.

“I walk in the room, you can feel the pressure building/N***a dapped me up there, whole time they plotting against me,” Gucci raps, referring to his robbery and kidnapping that Pooh allegedly led.

Gucci seemingly addressed Big30, one of Pooh’s co-defendants and one of the eight men accused of robbery and kidnapping. Big30, whose real name is Rodney Wright Jr., was granted a $100,000 bond by a federal judge, but the order was immediately delayed.

Pooh, along with eight others, including his father and Big30, faces potential life imprisonment after being charged in connection to an alleged kidnapping and robbery in Dallas. Prosecutors claim the group lured victims to a recording studio under the pretense of a business meeting before allegedly committing the offenses.

At the time of the January incident, Pooh was already under home confinement and wearing a court-mandated ankle monitor following a 2022 federal conviction for conspiracy and drug trafficking.
