Grammy-nominated rapper Gucci Mane is kicking off Woptober with the announcement of his forthcoming label compilation “So Icy Boyz,” due October 15th. The booming 1017 global music label currently boasts quickly-rising signees Pooh Shiesty, Foogiano, Enchanting, Big Scarr, BigWalkDog, Hotboy Wes, and BiC Fizzle.
“So Icy Boyz” will follow Gucci Mane and The New 1017’s previous two compilation albums “So Icy Gang Vol. 1” and “So Icy Summer” highlighted by “Both Sides (ft. Lil Baby)” and “Still Remember (ft. Pooh Shiesty)”.
Gucci Mane also previously released his first album of the year titled “Ice Daddy,” executive produced by Gucci Mane’s son, Ice Davis, with features from Lil Baby, Lil Uzi Vert, Pooh Shiesty, E-40, 2 Chainz, and more.
“Ice Daddy” followed the surprise release of his first-ever greatest hits collection, “Trap God Classics.” The project compiles 28 of Gucci Mane’s biggest tracks and worldwide fan favorites, including such smashes as the 4x RIAA platinum certified “I Get The Bag (ft. Migos),” the 3x platinum “Both (ft. Drake),” and the 3x RIAA platinum certified blockbuster, “Wake Up In The Sky,” alongside Bruno Mars and Kodak Black.
