Gunna has unveiled the awaited music video for his hit single “wgft” featuring Burna Boy, further solidifying his impressive run this year.
The visually striking and sultry video is now available, accompanying one of the standout tracks from his chart-topping sixth studio album, “The Last Wun”.
Directed by longtime collaborator Spike Jordan and shot in London, the video is a masterful blend of allure and artistic vision, arguably Gunna’s most captivating work to date.
It juxtaposes close-ups of serpents, scenes of pole dancing, and haunting visuals of Gunna draped in a veil, surrounded by models. Burna Boy joins the narrative in a lively club atmosphere, with the video ending on a high-energy note. The aesthetic mirrors the sensuous rhythm of the track while embracing a sleek, high-fashion cinematic style.
“wgft” has become a breakout hit from “The Last Wun”, maintaining its presence on the Billboard Hot 100 for an impressive 12 weeks straight.
Touring his latest album, Gunna kicks off the “Wun World Tour” this month. A standout moment includes his first-ever headlining performance at New York’s iconic Madison Square Garden on November 22, which has already sold out.
The tour goes global in January with festival appearances at South Africa’s Milk & Cookies Festival, followed by performances at Rolling Loud in Sydney and Melbourne in March. The European leg will take him to cities like Paris, Berlin, London, and more before concluding on March 28 at AFAS Live in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
