Takeoff’s death has sent shockwaves throughout the Hip-Hop community. He was 28.

According to reports, Takeoff and his uncle, fellow Migos member Quavo, were playing dice at a bowling alley in downtown Houston before a dispute erupted. Takeoff was shot and pronounced dead at the scene, two other people at the dice game were also shot and taken to the hospital, Quavo was unharmed.

As of late Wednesday morning, Quavo and Offset had not yet commented on their bandmate’s death. However, Offset changed his profile picture on Instagram to a photo of Takeoff with a white heart emoji.

Though the details of his death are still surfacing, fans, peers, and the Hip-Hop community are starting to share their reactions to the tragic news including Gucci Mane, Drake, Rick Ross, LL Cool J, Machine Gun Kelly, Ciara, Cordae, DJ Premier, Ja Rule, Kid Cudi, Fabolous, Outkast and many more.
