Last week, numerous hip-hop artists have rallied around Lil Durk during his murder-for-hire trial, both inside the courtroom and beyond its walls.

Their support has been evident through actions like sitting with Durk’s family during proceedings and donning “Free Durk” T-shirts outside the courthouse.

On August 24, the trial’s first day witnessed a gathering of Chicago rappers demonstrating their solidarity at the Los Angeles federal courthouse. Among those present were G Herbo, Dreezy, and OTF affiliate Doodie Lo, who stood alongside a group of fans. Together, they posed for a photo wearing their “Free Durk” shirts, symbolizing their united front.

“We’re just here to support Smurk [Durk]. Free the Voice until he’s free,” said Herbo.

Inside the courtroom, Machine Gun Kelly was reportedly observing the trial from an overflow room alongside the public and media.

In response to online chatter questioning his visibility at the trial, MGK wrote on X: “This been my bro for a decade when he called and asked if id pull up and support[,] im there no question.” He also added, “Free durk.”

Durkio is getting support miles away from California. In Atlanta, rapper Ralo hopped on Instagram to offer his prayers to the OTF leader.

“Lil Durk winning this [trial]… Let’s manifest this sh*t,” he wrote. “F**k all that #FreeDurk,” he added.

Kanye West Shows Support

On August 27, fans were taken by surprise when Ye made an appearance at the federal building. The well-known rapper and producer from Chicago casually entered the courthouse, making his way to the room where Durk’s trial was taking place.

Donning an all-black ensemble, Ye was seen sitting with Durk’s family during the compelling testimony of OTF Jam. Additionally, he was observed alongside Doodie Lo, who was displaying a shirt that read “Free Durk.”

Outside the courthouse, numerous rappers voiced their support for Durk on social media. Notable figures like Meek Mill and Swizz Beatz were among those echoing the call for “Free Durk.”
