Rapper ILoveMemphis has been arrested for the second time within a week, facing accusations of burglary and causing a disturbance in a South Florida neighborhood.

According to a report by NBC 6 South Florida on February 18, ILoveMemphis, whose real name is Richard Maurice Colbert, was taken into custody on February 17. Authorities claim he committed multiple burglaries and disrupted a community in Plantation, Florida.

Plantation Police stated that officers responded to complaints about a neighborhood disturbance. Upon arrival, they discovered the 32-year-old rapper using his phone and posting on social media, actions that reportedly violated the terms of his pretrial release from a prior arrest just days earlier.

When approached by police, he fled the scene and allegedly entered various homes through enclosed backyards and patios — possibly leading to the burglary charges.

The incident prompted a temporary lockdown in the area while Broward Sheriff’s deputies conducted a search using their aviation unit and K-9 dogs. ILoveMemphis was eventually located and apprehended, though no details about any further charges have been released.

This recent arrest follows an earlier incident on February 10, when the rapper barricaded himself inside a home during a standoff with a SWAT team, which he streamed live on Instagram. The confrontation ended when the SWAT team forcibly entered through the garage and took him into custody without injuries.

Following that arrest, ILoveMemphis was charged with Written Threats to Kill or Injure and Resisting Officers Without Violence. He was released from jail on February 11 after posting $250, which represented 10% of his $2,500 bond amount.
