On Wednesday (August 28), TMZ reported that Irv Gotti suffered a stroke.

According to the news network, Wack 100 first broke the story during a recent podcast appearance.

“I got everything. I got a guy down there at the stroke recovery center,” the artist manager claimed. “It’s gonna f**k y’all up.” Wack also shared a photo of the veteran mogul walking with the use of a cane.

Wack explained that the photo he had of Gotti allegedly originated from an employee at the center. Ultimately, the manager concluded his thoughts by asking the public to pray for the producer.

Irvā€™s team shut down Wack 100ā€™s claims that the producer is currently using a ā€œwalkerā€ to walk, and in a rehab facility.

ā€œIrv has been struggling with diabetes for years, which caused him to have a minor stroke over six months ago. He has since changed his diet to eating more healthy. Heā€™s been successful in making a full recovery. Irv is not in a rehab facility. He is at home with his family, enjoying life,ā€ confirms his rep.

Most commenters called Wack 100 out for being insensitive. Gotti has never shied away from speaking on his health issues.

Gotti addressed his health issues on a past episode of “Drink Champs” where he says that his diabetes is hereditary, but reversible with a lifestyle change. “[Diabetes] is rampant with Black people,” he explained. “I’ve been diagnosed with diabetes forever, its hereditary. You gotta change the way you eat and all that.”
