J. Cole is taking home more than two dozen new certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) this week.
The organization announced a total of 27 new plaques for the Germany-born rapper, with 21 of them ranging from platinum to multiple-platinum certifications for releases like “She’s Mine, Pt. 1,” 4 Your Eyez Only, “Kevin’s Heart” and “The Off-Season.”
His “Revenge Of The Dreamers III” single “Middle Child” was also certified 9x platinum and may very well be Cole’s first ever diamond record — all he needs is one more platinum certification before being awarded the prestigious diamond plaque, which certifies that the track has sold 10 million units.
Just 120 songs in history have been certified diamond, including “Not Afraid” by Eminem who also has diamond certifications for “Lose Yourself” and “Love the Way You Lie.”
As previously reported, Cole is preparing to hit the road with Drake for their joint “It’s All a Blur Tour – Big As The What?” tour, which is set to kick off in mid-January 2024. On 18 of those 22 shows, he will be joined by Cole.
