On February 12, Ja Rule addressed the situation through an official statement shared on social media.

In his post, Ja also emphasized his dislike for being pushed out of character and extended apologies to his wife, family, fans, and professional associates. Despite his apology, the rapper made it clear that he remains willing to stand his ground, adding that he doesn’t instigate conflicts.
The statement followed an incident from February 9, when footage of Ja Rule clashing with Yayo and Murda went viral. The three rappers were reportedly onboard a flight from San Francisco to New York when the situation escalated.
Video clips circulated online, showing verbal exchanges between the artists, which eventually led to Ja throwing a pillow at Yayo. The heated argument featured Ja demanding action while Yayo responded by hurling insults.
Due to the confrontation, Ja was removed from the plane and opted to catch another flight.
