Jack Harlow has a special surprise for his fans this year.
The Louisville rapper announced on February 10 that his fourth studio album, “Monica”, will drop on March 13, coinciding with his 28th birthday.
Harlow took to Instagram to share the news, writing: “Monica. My new album. Available everywhere on my birthday, March 13th.”
The announcement was accompanied by the album’s cover art, showcasing a motion-blurred image of the “Lovin On Me” artist with closed eyes, wearing a pair of shades and a tilted brown cap.
Details about the album’s musical direction remain under wraps, but a press release revealed that the 27-year-old worked on the project at Electric Lady Studios in New York City after relocating to the city. The legendary studio has hosted numerous iconic artists like Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, and Stevie Wonder throughout its storied history.
Harlow has kept a low profile musically over the past year. His most recent single, “Just Us,” featuring Doja Cat, was released last March.
It’s been almost three years since his last full-length project. In April 2023, Harlow dropped “Jackman”, an album that debuted at #8 on the Billboard 200 chart.
