Jack Harlow is revisiting one of the biggest turning points in his career, and he is bringing an R&B legend along for the ride.
Jack Harlow’s “Sweet Action II” is officially arriving November 6, giving fans a seven-track project that could mark an important moment in his musical direction.
Announced on November 2, the upcoming EP serves as a sequel to his 2020 release “Sweet Action”, the project that helped propel him into mainstream hip-hop with the breakout hit “WHATS POPPIN.”
But this isn’t simply a nostalgia play. Harlow is returning to a familiar title while attempting to reshape the conversation surrounding his music.
Jack Harlow Recruits Babyface for “Sweet Action II”
One of the biggest surprises is a collaboration with legendary singer and songwriter Babyface on a track titled “TOO SOON.”
The seven-song tracklist also includes “SIGNORA,” “SHE GETS ME,” “610 MAGNOLIA,” “HOLD BACK,” “PRESSURE” and “MOVE ON.”
The collaboration is particularly interesting given Harlow’s recent exploration of R&B. His 2026 album Monica showcased a different musical direction, generating considerable conversation and mixed reactions among listeners.
Now, with Babyface involved, Harlow appears comfortable continuing to explore the relationship between hip-hop and R&B.
Can “Sweet Action II” Change the Conversation?
There is an undeniable challenge attached to revisiting a project that helped establish an artist’s mainstream identity. Fans remember what the original Sweet Action represented, and expectations can become difficult to escape.
Harlow has enjoyed massive singles throughout his career, but not every album has received the same enthusiasm. That makes this release particularly interesting.
With just seven tracks, there is little room for filler or creative uncertainty. The project will also arrive on the same day as Lil Baby’s upcoming album Fresh, creating an especially competitive release Friday.
Whether Babyface’s appearance becomes the project’s defining moment or Harlow delivers something unexpected, one thing is certain: November 6 will give fans plenty to debate.
“Sweet Action II” arrives Friday, November 6, 2026.
