Beyoncé has once again caught fans off guard.
Just weeks after unveiling “Morning Dew (Donk),” she’s released a surprise remix pack featuring four tracks, including collaborations with her husband Jay-Z.
The EP was unveiled in the early hours of August 5 with Parkwood Entertainment notifying the Beyhive through a social media update.
“Morning Dew (Donk)” was initially announced over the Fourth of July weekend. The track, co-written by Beyoncé herself, alongside Pharrell Williams, The-Dream, and Darius Dixon, marks the official release of material that had been circulating as demos in previous years.
On the Remix Pack, Jay-Z jumps in with a fresh rhyme. “Top of the top, sloppy as a morning dew/ The watch is vintage, I don’t need nothing new / Coming through Malibu in the old school,” he raps.
“Morning Dew” is set to feature on the 20th anniversary deluxe edition of Beyoncé’s second album, “B’Day”.
