Jay-Z’s rape accuser is pushing back against attempts to unveil her identity amid ongoing legal disputes.

In the wake of the rapper’s defamation lawsuit against her and her lawyer, Tony Buzbee, the woman — referred to as Jane Doe — has appealed to the court to keep her name confidential. The appeal includes a report from her psychiatrist, highlighting the potential harm that public exposure could cause to her mental health.

The report underscores the gravity of the situation, noting that disclosing her identity could have devastating psychiatric consequences. It explains that such exposure would likely destabilize her mental health recovery, aggravate existing symptoms, impair her functioning, and severely impact her overall prognosis.

Although her identity remains unknown to the general public, Jay-Z and his legal team are aware of who she is.

Previously, the woman had accused Jay-Z and Diddy of sexually assaulting her when she was 13 years old. However, after discrepancies in her account came to light, she dropped the lawsuit. In response, Jay-Z filed his own lawsuit, alleging defamation against both the accuser and her attorney for bringing forward what he considers baseless claims.

According to Jay-Z’s filing, the accusations have caused significant financial harm. His legal team claims that he lost numerous contracts in sports and entertainment, amounting to an estimated $20 million in revenue. They further suggest that the financial losses could have been even greater had those contracts been fully realized.
