RIAA Triple Platinum-certified rapper JayDaYoungan kicks off 2022 with the reflective “Scarred” EP. The track “Ready For It,” which was produced by Heartbeatz (Boosie Badazz, Moneybagg Yo, Kevin Gates) received an official music video, which is now available on YouTube.

Although currently incarcerated, “Scarred” serves as an outlet for Jay as well as a way to continue connecting with his loyal fanbase. On the EP’s title JayDaYoungan says, “’Scarred’ is a tattoo I have on my face. The title basically speaks to being hurt over time by people and life in general and being scarred by it. Nearly every song on the EP is about past trauma from real life experiences.”
