Jill Scott is gearing up to make a highly anticipated return in 2026.

The Philadelphia-born artist has announced her plans to release “To Whom This May Concern”, her first studio album in more than 10 years, scheduled to drop just in time for Valentine’s Day on February 13.

This marks Scott’s first release since 2015’s “Woman”, which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart. The upcoming album will feature collaborations with an exciting roster of artists, including Ab-Soul, J.I.D, fellow Philly talent Tierra Whack, and Too $hort.

For this project, Scott has assembled an impressive lineup of producers such as DJ Premier, Adam Blackstone, Om’Mas Keith, Camper, Andre Harris, Seige Montracity, Trombone Shorty, Eric Wortham, DW Wright, and VT Tolan — ensuring a richly layered soundscape across the 19-track album.

Leading the way is the soulful single “Beautiful People,” setting the tone for what promises to be an impactful release.

The transition to her new label, The Orchard, signals a fresh start for the Grammy-winning neo-soul icon. This will be her first album with the label after concluding her time with Atlantic Records following the release of “Woman”.

Sharing her excitement on January 2, Scott wrote: “Finally my new album entitled TO WHOM THIS MAY CONCERN drops Feb. 13th!!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE and THANK YOU for your patience and your listening ears. Presave link available in my bio now! Much Love, Jilly from Philly.”

With this upcoming release, Jill Scott opens a new chapter in her career while continuing to captivate fans with her timeless artistry.
