The verdict on the trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs has been reached.
A split decision, Diddy was found guilty on two out of five of the felony charges, and acquitted on charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.
A verdict on the Sean “Diddy” Combs trial has been officially reached, after the jury came to a partial verdict on four of the five counts on the evening of Tuesday (July 1). Today, the jury deemed Diddy guilty on two of the five felony charges.
On the third day of deliberations of the seven-week trial, the Bad Boy Records mogul (who plead not guilty), was found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, but was acquitted on the more major charges of both racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking; it was the sex trafficking and racketeering charges that would have put him behind bars for the longest amount of time.

COUNT THREE – Transportation to engage in prostitution – Casandra Ventura = GUILTY
COUNT FOUR – Sex Trafficking of Jane = NOT GUILTY
COUNT FIVE – Transportation to engage in prostitution – Jane = GUILTY
When sentencing begins, Diddy faces up to 10 years in prison, but NBC News reports that “Prosecutor Maurene Comey said they would seek the maximum of 20 years in total.
