Kehlani makes her highly-anticipated return with new single, “After Hours.”

The dance-worthy anthem, which samples Cordel “Scatta” Burrell’s iconic “Coolie Dance Rhythm,” was produced by Khris Riddick and Alex Goldblatt.

“We don’t gotta take it slow/ I’ma hit the gas if you’re ready to go/ I wanna speed it, breathe into your clothes/ The way you touch my neck got me ready to fold,” she sings.

“After Hours” notably marks Kehlani’s first solo release since their 2022 album “Blue Water Road,” a project that saw her collaborate with industry heavyweights including Justin Bieber, Jessie Reyez, Syd, Blxst, Thundercat, and Ambré.

Late last year, the Oakland artist began teasing new music and even hinted that her next project would be a sequel to her debut LP “SweetSexySavage.” It now seems that the single, dubbed “After Hours,” is the first cut of her fourth album
