The spectacular beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar continues to make history.

Lamar’s diss track, “Not Like Us,” enters the record books with an unprecedented 21st week at #1 on Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs chart. The single surpasses Lil Nas X’s 2019 juggernaut, “Old Town Road,” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, for the most weeks atop the chart since its launch in 1989.

The Compton rapper dropped the track in May amid his war of words with Drake and reigned supreme. The track immediately skyrocketed to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and whispers say it’s the biggest Rap song of 2024 thanks to 17.1 million official U.S. streams in the latest tracking week (Sept. 27 – Oct. 3), according to Luminate.

Lyrically, Kendrick aimed at the Canadian superstar with bars alleging he’s a sexual predator, a culture vulture, colonizer, and more.

“Not Like Us” has even surpassed 2Pac‘s “Hit ‘Em Up” as the most streamed diss track in Spotify history.
