Lil Baby has returned with a fully-fledged music video for “Forever,” featuring Fridayy. Directed by Cam Busby, the clip is set on a tropical beachside, where the Diamond-certified rapper delivers a slew of love-on-the-brain bars.

On the track, the “Yes Indeed” rapper narrates a back-and-forth situation with his love interest:

“How we get so deep so fast? Bae, stop playin’, I’ll beat your a**/ You be on some toxic s**t, but I cannot get off this b**ch, I haven’t seen you in three months, I miss you, can I see you, bae?/ Every time I see one of your pictures, that s**t drives me crazy/ Girl, I know you miss a n**ga, especially how I kiss it/Message say delivered, why the f**k you keep goin’ missing on me?/ Every time he get back in the picture, you act different on me”

Seated solo at a late-night, sandy bonfire, Lil Baby longingly delivers his lines into a sea of flames. As the track progresses, the video juxtaposes the rapper’s melancholy with brilliant shots of his love interest riding a majestic horse on the beach.

“Thinkin’ how we played out/ Really I feel off about it but ain’t never said it,” Lil Baby raps. “We ain’t gotta talk about it/ They’ll never know when I’m with you, I play a different role.”

The music video begins to go in reverse and ends with a shot of the couple seated on the beach, wishing that they could go back in time.
