Lil Nas X marked his return to Hip-Hop and the start of his next era by releasing the blasphemic single “J Christ” and dropping a cinematic music video of biblical proportions.

The controversial rapper began teasing the song earlier this week, writing that it “is dedicated to the man who had the greatest comeback of all time.”

Lil Nas X, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, produced “J Christ” with Gesaffelstein and Omar Fedi. He also co-wrote the song with Gesaffelstein, Fedi, and Blake Slatkin.

The confused Georgia artist is known for making visual statements, his latest effort is no different.

The video contains several references to Lil Nas’ controversial music video for “Montero (Call Me By Your Name),” which showed the Grammy winner sliding into hell on a stripper pole.

“J Christ” marks his first song since 2022’s “Late to da Party” (ft. YoungBoy Never Broke Again) and his contribution to the League of Legends World Championship, “Star Walkin.’” His debut album, “Montero,” was released in 2021.
