Lil Uzi Vert and Roc Nation recently faced a lawsuit filed by Uzi’s former assistant, alleging sexual harassment and labor violations. However, the case was dismissed shortly after being brought forward.
The anonymous complainant initially submitted the suit on October 20 in Los Angeles Superior Court. In her 16-page complaint, the woman claimed to have worked as an Artiment Coordinator for Uzi from 2022 to 2025.
During this time, she alleged experiences of sexual harassment, exploitative working conditions, and wage violations. The filing included several explicit text messages reportedly sent to her by Uzi.
Examples of the messages alleged in the complaint included phrases such as “I’m by myself right now send me something,” “Let me see that booty,” and “You are more than my assistant. You are my b****.”
The accuser, identified as Jane Doe, also stated that Uzi would use various drugs and behave aggressively while under the influence. Furthermore, she alleged she was forced to work excessively long hours without receiving overtime pay, was required to cover job-related expenses from her own pocket, and was denied reimbursement.
According to the filing, Doe resigned from her position in April 2025 after enduring years of emotional distress and health concerns brought on by her work environment. She was pursuing a jury trial as part of her legal action.
On November 6, however, Doe’s attorney dismissed the lawsuit without prejudice. This designation means that Doe retains the option to refile the suit at a later date.
