Lil Yachty is back with his new single “Murda”.
“Murda” is a genre-blending track that flips Maggie Rogers’ 2016 breakout hit “Alaska” into a gritty, introspective anthem.
Accompanied by a cinematic music video directed by AMD Visuals, Yachty flexes his fashion-forward style while counting stacks at a shooting range alongside two high-fashion models.
“They know when we get to the city they all get alerted, midnight bail/ Pull up, what’s that smell?/ I’m that sh*t with the house on the hill/ I just put a lil b*ch on a / I just put a lil b*tch on a pill,” he spits on the chorus.
The song that put Rogers on the map – after Pharrell supported it – is the latest in a stream of inventive visuals from Lil Boat going back several months to when he dropped three songs in one night, including “We Ball Forever.”
