Lil Yachty has released his second track of 2024 entitled āSomething Ether.ā
The new single has a beat from Cardo, a veteran rap producer who usually makes pretty straightforward tracks.
āSomething Etherā finds Yachty in his experimental era, spitting hard-hitting bars over distorted 808s.
āI like my b*tches delusional (Huh) / Itās ābout who you is, not who you know (Huh) / Let me splurge on you, b*tch, you beautiful (Huh) / I aināt never work in no cuā (What?) / I aināt never work in no cubicle (Grr),ā he raps.
The visuals, led by AMD Visuals and Little Miles, amplify the experimental vibe. For streaming, the track is packaged as part of a “Something Ether EP” that also features other recent Yachty drops like “A Cold Sunday,” the J. Cole-assisted “The Secret Recipe,” “Strike (Holster),” and more.
