Lil Yachty has released his second track of 2024 entitled “Something Ether.”

The new single has a beat from Cardo, a veteran rap producer who usually makes pretty straightforward tracks.

“Something Ether” finds Yachty in his experimental era, spitting hard-hitting bars over distorted 808s.

“I like my b*tches delusional (Huh) / It’s ’bout who you is, not who you know (Huh) / Let me splurge on you, b*tch, you beautiful (Huh) / I ain’t never work in no cu— (What?) / I ain’t never work in no cubicle (Grr),” he raps.

The visuals, led by AMD Visuals and Little Miles, amplify the experimental vibe. For streaming, the track is packaged as part of a “Something Ether EP” that also features other recent Yachty drops like “A Cold Sunday,” the J. Cole-assisted “The Secret Recipe,” “Strike (Holster),” and more.
