Chicago rapper LUCKI is stable and recovering from a neck wound following a chaotic altercation at ComplexCon over the weekend.
Reports indicate that the artist is doing relatively well despite suffering a bloody injury during a physical fight outside the venue.
ComplexCon Incident Leads to Police Investigation
Details surrounding the altercation remain fluid, but social media videos captured part of the chaos in the parking lot area. According to reports from TMZ, the Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the incident as an attempted murder after four individuals, including LUCKI, suffered injuries during the event.
Unconfirmed rumors circulating online attempted to link Playboi Carti and members of his Opium camp to the fight. However, law enforcement officials and representatives for both artists have not confirmed any direct involvement beyond reports that Carti witnessed the scene from a nearby vehicle.

Unverified Claims and Online Reactions
Various online updates from event attendees and social media commentators offered differing accounts of what sparked the confrontation. Some alleged the argument began near the security entrance, while others claimed an altercation took place involving other artists at the convention.
Despite the intense speculation, the primary focus remains on the fact that LUCKI is stable. Media personality DJ Akademiks and numerous fans posted reactions expressing shock over the altercation while wishing the Chicago MC a full recovery.
🚨 Akademiks says what happened to LUCKI at ComplexCon should be a WAKE-UP CALL about how artists move in LA
Ak says LUCKI was walking around loose with only a few people while Playboi Carti and Opium had a huge presence at the event:
“If you not cool with the YVL niggas, you don’t want to be at this festival.”
Ak says when HE goes to ComplexCon, he has his passes handled beforehand and makes sure security walks him straight from the car to the stage:
“I’m not here to be kicking it.”
His point is LUCKI wasn’t even booked to perform and was just hanging around:
“He gotta move a little bit better.”
