Mac Miller fans have received a special treat with the release of three new tracks as part of the 10th anniversary edition of “GO:OD AM”.

Released on streaming platforms, this collection of previously unreleased songs includes “Cable Box,” “Carpe Diem,” and “Royal Flush,” the latter being a collaboration with Vinny Radio.

The tracks come with notable production credits: long-time collaborator and fellow Pittsburgh native ID Labs handled “Cable Box” and “Royal Flush,” while “Carpe Diem” features the signature atmospheric touch of Clams Casino. Fans will recognize Clams Casino from his earlier work with Mac on projects like “Blue Slide Park”, “Macadelic”, and “Watching Movies With The Sound Off”.

Of the three, “Carpe Diem” stands out as a powerful highlight. The song showcases Mac’s introspective lyricism paired with his melancholic yet melodic vocals, as he reflects on the highs and lows of stardom. One poignant line in particular resonates deeply: “One day I’ma be the greatest, retire my jersey.”

It’s impossible not to ponder what the trajectory of his career — and life — might have looked like had he not passed away seven years ago.

This anniversary edition of “GO:OD AM” marks the second posthumous release this year from Mac Miller’s estate, following January’s “Balloonerism”. That album, which includes collaborations with SZA and Thundercat, was originally recorded in 2014 during the same period as “Faces” but was set aside in favor of “GO:OD AM”, Mac’s major label debut.

Upon its original release, “GO:OD AM” demonstrated Mac’s artistic growth as he delved into new sounds, instruments, and genres. The 14-track project premiered at number three on the Billboard 200 and amassed 81,000 units in its first week, cementing its place as a defining moment in his career.
