Fresh out of prison, Harlem rapper Max B has made his comeback with the release of a new single and is gearing up to drop a full album later this week.

On Monday (November 24), Max unveiled the track “No More Tricks,” produced by Dame Grease. The song features the artist referencing several legendary figures in hip-hop.

“MC Ren, Eazy-E, Dr. Dre feed the beast/Swizz my ni**ga, Alicia Keys/That’s word to ‘Pac a million and one, milli three degree,” he raps. “Ni**a, we believe, Beretta millimeter/Clip hold 17/Get high off that Ketamine.”

The single serves as the lead track for his upcoming album, “Public Domain 7: The First Purge (Patient Zero)”, set to release on November 28.

This project marks a significant moment for Max B, coming just weeks after his release from prison, where he served nearly 18 years following a conviction related to a robbery-homicide in New Jersey back in 2006.

Upon reentering the music scene, Max was welcomed by close friend and collaborator French Montana. Since then, he has made appearances at various events as he works to reclaim his place in the industry after an extended time away.

“Public Domain 7: The First Purge (Patient Zero)” will be Max B’s first solo venture since his 2021 release, “Negro Spirituals”.
