Meek Mill is having a good time in Dubai.
The Philadelphia rapper took to X on Wednesday (April 23) to admit his surprise over how much money he has earned in Dubai from his music in just one weekend.
“I’m making more in Dubai in one weekend off all my music no wayyyyyy lol,” Meek wrote.
The post comes after Meek responded to backlash over a picture of himself with two young white women in what appeared to be an innocent fan pic, but social media quickly turned it into a firestorm.
The reason fans were upset was due to Shannon Sharpe’s recent legal troubles, where an ex-girlfriend, who is reportedly white, filed a lawsuit accusing him of sexual assault.
Although Meek has nothing to do with Sharpe’s issue, fans believed he should’ve read the room and passed on sharing a photo of himself with white women.
Meek questioned on his Instagram Stories why people would be so bothered by a photo with two fans.
“Why they keep posting me on blogs with 2 fans…who makes the decisions of what Meek post to put on blogs? lol,” the rapper wrote.
“It’s a regular pic with fans internet melting the minds of the black community wthelly,” he added.
