Method Man and Kelly Rowland bring undeniable chemistry to the screen as they star in the romantic comedy “Relationship Goals”, portraying former lovers turned work rivals.
Adapted from the New York Times bestselling novel of the same name, the film follows the two as they battle for the same coveted position at a prestigious NYC morning show.
Adding another layer of tension, their characters Leah Caldwell (Rowland) and Jarrett Roy (Method Man) share a complicated history, having once been romantically involved before parting ways under less-than-ideal circumstances.
According to the synopsis, Jarrett is now a self-proclaimed changed man, claiming inspiration from the wisdom of the bestselling book “Relationship Goals”.
However, Leah, determined to shatter workplace barriers and rise to the top, is hesitant to trust not just his transformation but also her own feelings. As their undeniable spark begins to rekindle, she’s faced with deciding whether to let love back into her life.
Directed by Linda Mendoza, “Relationship Goals” comes to Amazon Prime Video on February 4, making it a perfect start to the Valentine’s Day season.
