Metro Boomin was on X answering fans’ questions on the platform. At one point, the hit producer was asked if he was feuding with Drake.

“Are u and Drake seriously beefing or is it not that deep,” one fan asked in a since-deleted post.

“Not deep at all lmao,” Metro responded.

As Yo! Raps previously reported, rumors of their beef started in December when Metro expressed his frustration that his standout album, “Heroes & Villains,” wasn’t getting the same accolades as Drake and 21 Savage’s “Her Loss,” even though it garnered more streams.

“Yet her loss still keeps winning rap album of the year over H&V. proof that award shows are just politics and not for me,” Metro said at the time. “Idc about awards honestly, the true award and REWARD is knowing that the music I spend so much time on brings joy to peoples everyday lives.”

Drizzle seemingly responded to Metro’s tweet in a livestream with a statement regarding the “tweet-and-deleters.”

“And to the rest of you,” Drake added, “The non-believers, the underachievers, the tweet-and-deleters, you guys make me sick to my stomach, fam.”

What’s more? Metro Boomin has big plans for the year, despite having one of his best year’s professionally in 2023. The St. Louis artist has confirmed that he plans on releasing three separate projects in 2024.
