Havoc has announced that new music from Mobb Deep is in the works, which will include production by longtime collaborator The Alchemist.
The Queensbridge legend took to Instagram on Monday (July 15) to the confirm the exciting news,
The video see the duo in The Alchemist’s studio with Havoc stating, “New Mobb Deep coming soon. R.I.P. Prodigy.” He then points the camera to the producer in the back ground and continued, “You already know what it is. Mobb Deep coming soon, baby. Infinite.”
Despite Prodigy’s untimely death in 2017, Havoc has been slowly plotting a new Mobb Deep album, which would mark their first drop since 2014’s “The Infamous Mobb Deep.” Prodigy’s death was the result of accidental choking during a hospital stint related to his long and well-documented battle with sickle cell disease.
