Mustard is capitalizing on his success from producing Kendrick Lamar‘s “Not Like Us” and announced his fourth studio album entitled “Faith Of A Mustard Seed.”
Five years after releasing “Perfect 10,” which featured the hits “Pure Water” with Migos and “Ballin” with Roddy Ricch, the Los Angeles-born producer is readying his next album. Mustard unveiled the album’s cameo-filled trailer on his social networks, which features footage of the project’s potential contributing artists.
“But Jesus said if you had faith the size of a mustard seed…” the trailer opens. Throughout the one-and-a-half-minute trailer, artists including Future, Travis Scott, Lil Baby, Young Thug and Don Toliver.
The album title comes from the Christian Bible; the book of Matthew, chapter 17, verse 20 and 21, advises, “For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to the mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move and nothing will be impossible for you.”
The verse specifically refers to faith in the Christian God, but could easily be interpreted to mean radical self-belief, as well.
What’s more? Outside of music, Mustard just announced he’s expecting a child with his new girlfriend, Brittany Stroud.
