34 years ago today, N.W.A released their second and final studio album, “Niggaz4Life”, on May 28, 1991.

The album was the group’s final album as N.W.A disbanded later the same year after the departure of Dr. Dre and songwriter and unofficial member of the group The D.O.C. who both left to form Death Row Records.

“Niggaz4Life” features only four members of the original line-up, as Arabian Prince and Ice Cube had already left the group in 1988 and 1989 respectively. It debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200, but in its second week peaked at #1.
