Nas is currently in the headlines after dissing Doja Cat on his new single “Ultra Black.”

The Brooklyn rapper is referencing the controversy surrounding Doja Cat who was caught in chat group chats with White supremacists. The female rapper also released a song where she used a racial slur about Black people who face police brutality.

Doja later apologized for it and wrote:

I want to address what’s been happening on Twitter. I’ve used public chat rooms to socialize since I was a child. I shouldn’t have been on some of those chat room sites, but I personally have never been involved in any racist conversations. I’m sorry to anyone I offended.

She continued,

I just realized how stupid that narrative is. I just realized that. The things — The verbal harassment, the physical harassment that I could go through being in a crowd of white supremacists — who you think I’m so good friends with, fcking ridiculous. My friends aren’t racist in chat rooms; my friends on TinyChat are not fcking white supremacists. They love me, I love them, they’re loving and that’s it. You won’t find anything on them because you’re f*cking stupid.

When Doja Cat caught wind of Nas’ “Ultra Black” diss track, she said:

I’m so offended and upset by this song. Have you guys heard ‘Fruit Salad’ by The Wiggles.
