Nas has expressed his openness to a potential collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, raising hopes among hip-hop fans for such a musical partnership.

While speaking with Complex ahead of his appearance at New York Comic Con to promote the “Legend Has It” comic book collaboration between Mass Appeal and Marvel, the legendary rapper from Queensbridge addressed the possibility of teaming up with Kendrick.

Nas explained that any collaboration would need to come naturally, emphasizing the importance of creative chemistry.

“Oh, man. It’s just all about the artist,” he answered. “When you get the chance to record and work together, for me it should feel really natural. That would be great, I’d love to work with him.

“But I feel like it would have to be smooth the way it connects. Anything I do with anybody, especially someone like [Kendrick], I just want to take my time with it. So we’ll see. Hopefully.”

Adding a touch of humor, Nas quipped about being open for collaborations, saying: “All you MCs out there, give me a call, man! I got some verses here and there. They’re hit or miss.”

Although Nas and Kendrick Lamar haven’t joined forces in the studio yet, the mutual respect between these two lyrical powerhouses is evident, leaving fans to dream of what their combined artistry could produce.
