NBA YoungBoy takes no days off and lit up the internet  yesterday!

The buzzing Baton Rouge rapper has announced that he will release a surprise project titled “Realer 2” today (September 6). YoungBoy deactivated his Instagram page and according to DJ Akademiks, it is because he is planning on dropping a sequel to his 2018 mixtape titled “Realer,” which his fans have been eagerly anticipating.

“Breaking: NBA Youngboy deactivates his Instagram page. I talked to him and asked why… He said ‘Realer 2’ is dropping tonight!!!!” Ak tweeted on Monday (September 5).

In a separate tweet, Akademiks explained how he came upon the information.

“YB different aint gon lie lol. N-gga woke up on Labor day.. just facetimed me and said .. yo i aint on instagram.. let them ppls know im dropping Realer 2 tonight. thats goat shit. and he a free agent…… he can do w/e he really wanna do. lol.”

YB’s upcoming drop comes just one month after his fourth studio album titled “The Last Slimeto,” which nearly achieved a Billboard #1 debut against Latin pop icon Bad Bunny. It debuted at #2 with 108,400 first-week units, however, sales haven’t been what’s driving YoungBoy as of late. 4,600 of that figure came from pure sales, while the remainder came from 161.92 million on-demand streams.
