YoungBoy Never Broke Again will not face any charges following an incident in Utah where he was a passenger in a vehicle that was found to contain drugs during a traffic stop.
According to Utah’s KUTV, the incident occurred on December 31, when a Utah Highway Patrol trooper pulled over a vehicle on I-15. The car had three occupants: YoungBoy, a male driver, and a female passenger.
Upon searching the vehicle, authorities discovered drugs and a substantial amount of cash. The driver and the female passenger admitted ownership of the drugs, and YoungBoy was subsequently not charged.
UHP Sgt. Mike Alexander commented to KUTV, “I do believe there was money in the vehicle, but it didn’t seem to be any kind of tie to the drugs.”
He further explained that, after consulting with the Utah County Attorney’s Office, it was determined that charges would only be pursued against the two individuals who claimed responsibility for the drugs.
“In consultation with the Utah County Attorney’s Office, it was decided that charges would be screened against those two individuals for the possession of those illicit drugs.”
Authorities did not disclose the identities of the individuals charged.
