NBA YoungBoy has once again stirred up controversy, this time targeting Lil Durk during a live performance in Houston.
Before launching into his diss track “I Hate YoungBoy,” which also takes jabs at the Chicago rapper, YoungBoy addressed the crowd with provocative remarks about Durk.
He called Durk a “pussy ass n-gga,” prompting a mixed reaction from the audience. His comments were followed by an unintelligible rant about his rival before he transitioned into performing “I Hate YoungBoy,” a moment that was met with enthusiasm by fans present.
Interestingly, YoungBoy had previously downplayed the feud, claiming it was primarily entertainment.
Speaking to Gillie Da Kid, he stated: “It ain’t what you think OG all this shit entertainment.” Despite the apparent animosity, the Baton Rouge rapper revealed that he and Durk occasionally discuss music, communicating every “two or three nights.”
Lil Durk later reacted to YoungBoy’s antics, indicating that their ongoing issues remain unresolved. The Chicago rapper took to Instagram Stories to accuse YoungBoy of deceit, alleging he had repeatedly sent a false home address. “You lied bout sending the address 7x when I asked I’m finna grab my coat 1 more time send the address,” Durk wrote.
The tension between the two artists can be traced back to late 2021, following the tragic death of King Von — Durk’s close friend and labelmate. Von was killed during an altercation with Quando Rondo, a known associate of NBA YoungBoy, sparking a heated rivalry that has simmered ever since.
