Nicki Minaj is embroiled in legal troubles as a production company has filed a lawsuit, alleging she owes $275,000 for various entertainment production services.

As detailed in a TMZ report on Tuesday (March 24), 24/7 Productions (USA) Inc. claims the New York rapper failed to reimburse expenses incurred during her 2023 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball performances and services provided for her album “Pink Friday 2”.

The lawsuit reportedly states that, despite numerous attempts to collect payments over nearly two years, Nicki Minaj’s company, Pink Friday Productions, has not paid any of the owed amount.

The attorneys for the production company noted that they were never given a clear reason for the delay, apart from vague responses such as “we’ll look into this.”

The filing also highlights that the working relationship between 24/7 Productions and Nicki began in 2022 during her performance at the MTV Video Music Awards. Subsequently, in late 2023, they collaborated again for two iHeart Jingle Ball concerts and her album launch events.

According to the complaint, Nicki’s team had approved the budget beforehand, and 24/7 Productions fulfilled its obligations by providing comprehensive production support.

This included pre-event planning, on-site management, staffing, audio and lighting setups, rigging, transportation logistics, and other essential services. Additionally, it is alleged that Nicki’s team received $650,000 for her Jingle Ball appearances and was fronted $275,000 in expenses, with reimbursement expected but never received.

The company is now suing for breach of contract and seeking damages exceeding $275,000 from Nicki Minaj’s production entity.
