Offset has made it clear he has no plans to revisit the idea of marriage after his split from Cardi B.
The Migos rapper, fresh off releasing his album “KIARI”, discussed his stance on matrimony during a recent appearance on the Full Send Podcast, stating he’s fully moved on from the concept.
“It’s not for me. I’ve done it, had three kids with it. It’s like a mission that’s been complete. I experienced it,” he shared, reflecting on his past with Cardi B.
When asked by podcast host Kyle about his thoughts on marriage in general, Offset emphatically discouraged the idea. “No, I would tell you don’t get married,” he advised.
The Atlanta-born artist emphasized that even relationships require significant sacrifices, which he feels are incompatible with his lifestyle and career.
“Even getting a girlfriend is such a big commitment — how we move, like our career. I’m tired,” he said. “Unless you’re cool with changing your life entirely… It’s different, especially when it’s written and it’s a real thing.”
Offset and Cardi B privately tied the knot back in September 2017 and welcomed three children during their time together: Kulture, Wave, and Blossom.
Cardi filed for divorce for a second time in August 2024. While the legal proceedings remain unresolved, both seem to have moved forward in their personal lives. Cardi is currently dating NFL player Stefon Diggs, while Offset appears to be focused solely on his music and career.
On August 22, Offset dropped his highly anticipated “KIARI” album, featuring collaborations with artists like YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Gunna, YFN Lucci, Ty Dolla $ign, John Legend, and Key Glock.
