OMB Peezy joins forces with multi-platinum producer Will A Fool (Future, Rod Wave) for a brand-new single entitled “Hallways To Highways” via Overkill Entertainment/300 Entertainment. The introspective track serves as the lead offering from his forthcoming mixtape, “Still Too Deep,” out in September.
“Hallwyays To Highways” hinges on a hypnotic loop tempered by airtight hi-hats and strains of cinematic piano. Propulsive verses give way to an overpowering refrain as OMB Peezy confesses, “I may forgive him, but I’m not forgetting.” His words ultimately cut deep atop Will A Fool’s rich production.
The track bulldozes the way for “Still Too Deep,” which serves as a sequel to his fan favorite 2021 mixtape, “Too Deep For Tears.” The project piled up over 10 million-plus streams, including guest spots by Rylo Rodriguez, Jacquees, Jackboy, and the late King Von.
“Hallways To Highways” lands in the wake of his acclaimed 2023 album, “Le’Paris.” Boasting features courtesy of Tee Grizzley, Kevin Gates, Hunxho, and more, it stacked up millions of streams and earned widespread critical acclaim.
OMB Peezy will embark on his “6th Lap Tour” with special guests FBL Manny and Lil Joc. The 20-city trek kicks off on August 30 at Hi Tone in Memphis making stops across North America in Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Salt Lake City, Denver and Phoenix before wrapping up at Center Stage Theater in Atlanta on September 29.
