Playboi Carti has officially confirmed that his long-awaited album entitled “I Am Music” is finished, bringing fans one step closer to its anticipated release.
The Atlanta rapper shared the news to fans further suggesting that his upcoming project is actually close to releasing.
Carti made the announcement after sharing a screenshot of a conversation with producer Wheezy, where they discussed sampling Jay-Z’s “Girls, Girls, Girls.”
This led to speculation that the LP was still in progress, but Carti quickly shut down the rumors.
“My album is done,” he stated.
Billboards for “I Am Music” were spotted in mid-February, and he even previewed a few songs during Rolling Loud Miami in December 2024.
The waiting game goes back to 2022, with only random updates here and there. While an official release date remains unknown, this latest update suggests fans won’t have to wait much longer.
