New music from Playboi Carti made its debut.
For months now, the Atlanta rapper has been building up to the release of his new album “I AM MUSIC” by throwing messy, wild-eyed songs — “Different Day,” “2024,” “BACKR00MS,” EvilJ0rdan” — up online without making them available on streaming services.
In the music video for “Ketamine,” Carti can be seen with a gun in his hand while raging in a dingy room alongside a man playing the guitar.
Clocking in at just under two minutes long, “Ketamine” is a classic Carti offering.
“You n-ggas don’t love me, your bitch wanna fuck me/ My t-shirt on, so I won’t get ugly/ She fuckin’ with a dime, I’m fuckin’ with a bomb/ They think I’m Osama, woah, she think I’m off somethin’,” he steps onto the track.
Like the rest of his recent singles, “Ketamine” is an Instagram-exclusive and is not available to stream on any major platforms at the moment.
Playboi Carti hasn’t released a full studio album since 2020’s “Whole Lotta Red,” and fans are waiting with bated breath for the follow-up project
