Playboi Carti seems to be ready for 2024.
The popular Atlanta rapper dropped off a new track and visual entitled “2024,” co-produced by Kanye West, Earl on the Beat and Ojivolta. After announcing his upcoming project, “I Am Music,” slated to drop early next year, Carti has given a glimpse at what can be expected from his third studio album.
“Yeah, yeah, you came back and you fell, uh/ Second place, can’t be in my face, oh, nah/ Deep pockets, they think I’m rockin’ Chanel/ Fat wallet, lil’ b*tch, you know I got here/ Out of pocket with your b*tch, Chanel/ I’m growin’ me some horns, baby, I’m from hell,” Carti raps on the first verse. Complete with a classic, repetitive Carti chorus: “Uh, put ‘em on the news or somethin’/ Put ‘em on the news (Ha).”
The visual opens with Playboi Carti showing off his car collection and designer luggage, as he performs in his garage. He also unwinds on the hood of a few of the cars, as he throws some money in the air — all while maintaining his rap skills over an entertaining beat.
