Pooh Shiesty is facing allegations of having an “inappropriate relationship” with a supervisor during his home confinement, which allegedly influenced his activities on the day Gucci Mane was said to be robbed and kidnapped.
Court documents indicate that federal prosecutors claim the rapper was involved personally with a case supervisor from Volunteers of America (VOA). This organization was responsible for overseeing his home confinement following his 2022 federal conviction for conspiracy and drug trafficking.
The employee is accused of inputting unauthorized day passes into the system, granting Pooh permission to travel beyond his court-imposed restrictions. This continued up to the day of Gucci’s alleged kidnapping, with three unauthorized day passes recorded and 19 contacts made with Pooh.
VOA has reportedly dismissed the employee involved.
In response, Pooh Shiesty’s attorney, Kent Schaffer, issued a statement, asserting that there was nothing inappropriate about Pooh’s relationship with any supervisors, labeling the allegations as distractions unrelated to his trial.
Despite this reported assistance, records show Pooh accrued several violations, including providing an invalid urine sample in November 2025, missing a urinalysis in January 2026 due to transportation issues, failing to attend a March 2026 check-in, and again citing transportation problems for another drug test shortly after.
Pooh Shiesty remains incarcerated as he awaits trial for allegedly robbing and kidnapping Gucci Mane and others at a Dallas recording studio in January. He is still seeking a bond, with his trial set for February 22, 2027.
